Organic Ceremonial cacao from cacao beans (Single Estate Criollo) harvested in Satipo, Peru. The cocoa is chopped by hand and each piece presents itself with beautiful layers.
With this cocoa, you not only get a boost of vitamins, minerals and nutrients, you also get the opportunity to have a deeper connection with yourself - and mother earth.
When the cocoa beans are harvested, the shell is cracked and the cocoa beans, encased in pulp, are collected. The beans are then fermented over 2-3 days, after which they are dried in the sun. When the cocoa beans are dry, the shell is removed and these are ground into a paste. The entire process is controlled, handled by manual labor and nothing is removed or added to the cocoa.
With its high nutritional content, ceremonial cacao ranks as a superfood. 100% cocoa is naturally bitter. This makes it an intense experience that can be felt throughout the body. Drinking Pachamama cocoa helps to clear thoughts and mental blocks and opens up to pleasure, joy and vitality. - Sun-dried beans. The beans are not machine roasted
Melt 25g pachamama cacao for a cup of chocolate. Mix with hot milk of your choice or with hot water, preferably in a saucepan. Feel free to add your favorite spices such as cinnamon or cardamom and maybe a little salt. To make the cocoa a little sweet, it is also good to have a little honey in it.
